East of Bangerter are established neighbourhoods from the seventies through the nineties, where homes need updating: original bathrooms, a closed-off kitchen, a yard of thirsty lawn. West of it the subdivisions are much newer and the work looks more like Herriman — basements and backyards to finish. A lawn-to-water-wise conversion is a common request here, and local programs such as Localscapes are worth checking before you start.
