Concrete floors

Garage and shop slabs poured flat enough to work on and sloped enough to drain.

Garage and shop slabs poured flat enough to work on and sloped enough to drain.

Interior slabs are a different job from exterior flatwork. They sit on a vapor barrier over compacted base, they get a hard trowel finish rather than a broom, and they are cut rather than tooled so the joints stay tight and clean under a floor you will actually sweep. For a garage we pour to a shallow slope toward the door so a wet vehicle drains itself.

Flatness is the thing people underestimate. A shop slab that is out by half an inch across a bay is invisible until you set a cabinet run or a lift on it. We screed off established points rather than eyeballing to the forms.

  • We just had LSG Quality Concrete pour concrete at our residence. They poured a patio and a pad for a hot tub. These guys were great! Great communication and they did a great job. Don’t hesitate to use these guys.
